We run lessons throughout the year across Telford and Shrewsbury, typically following local Shropshire school holiday patterns.

How Progress & Celebration Weeks Work
We don't just look at your child's swimming progress every few months. Our teachers continually observe swimmers during lessons and track their progress throughout the year.
Before each scheduled lesson break, we have a simple three-week progress and celebration cycle.
This gives our teachers time to review progress, lets families know when an award has been completed, and gives every swimmer an opportunity to celebrate how far they’ve come.
We believe every swimmer has something to be proud of, and every step forward is worth celebrating!
🔎 3 weeks before the break
Skills Review
Teachers will be making the final progress update and identifying any awards your child has completed.
We will recommend a class or stage move (if appropriate)
🏅 2 weeks before the break
Awards Purchase
We’ll let you know, if your child has achieved an award, and explain how to purchase the certificate and badge.
Ordering during this week gives our team enough time to prepare everything for Celebration Week.
🎉 1 week before the break
Celebration!
This is the exciting bit! Certificates and badges are presented during lessons, to celebrate the progress every swimmer has made.
Celebration Week recgonises confidence, improved skills, perseverance and individual achievements.

🏖️ Then comes the lesson break
Lessons pause for the scheduled break before starting again on the date shown in our calendar.
A little reminder about progress
🌟 Every swimmer progresses differently
Not every child will complete a full award during every celebration cycle — and that’s completely normal.
Swimming is a journey, and children develop skills and confidence at different rates. An award is just one way of recognising progress.
Building confidence. Improving technique. Trying something new. Becoming more independent. Persevering when something is difficult.
These are all achievements worth celebrating.
Our teachers will continue to support your child’s individual swimming journey and recommend the next steps when they’re ready.

Don't feel you have to wait for the next month to begin. If we have space in your preferred class, your child can dive in today. We simply pro-rata your first month's fees so you only pay for the lessons remaining!
