Free Taster Lesson (From 6 weeks+)
Curious to see what we’re all about?
We offer Free Taster Lessons for families in Telford and Shrewsbury so you can experience the Tiny Swimming difference firsthand!
You will join a regular 30-minute class with children of a similar age, giving you the perfect opportunity to explore our child-led class structure, our warm pools, and the fun we have together.
Swimming Stages
All of our Turtle stages are available at every one of our warm-water pool locations.
Our Turtles Programme
Stage 1: Baby Sensory (6 Weeks – 18 Months) Turtles 1 & 2
Focus: Gentle sensory exploration and bonding. What to expect: Skin-to-skin contact, gentle swaying, and a calm, reassuring introduction to the water. We use extra-warm pools to ensure a cosy experience for your baby.
Stage 2: Toddler Confidence (18 Months – 3 Years) Turtles 3, 4 & 5
Focus: Building independence and core water safety. What to expect: Developing a propulsive kick, learning safe entry and exit, and gaining the confidence to move away from a parent’s support in a safe, small-group setting.
Stage 3: Pre-School Mastery (3 Years – 5 Years) Turtles 6, 7 & 8
Focus: Stroke development and independent swimming. What to expect: Refined breathing techniques, swimming over short distances, and advanced water mastery to prepare them for a lifetime of swimming.
Private & Specialised Lessons
If a group setting isn’t the right fit for your family, we offer bespoke sessions at all our venues:
1:1 & 2:1 Private Tuition: Ideal for rapid progress or focused support.
Special Assistance: Nurturing lessons for children with additional needs.
Overcoming Fear (Aquaphobia): Specialist support for children or adults who are nervous about the water.

Specialised Lessons
Specialised lessons include 1:1, 2:1, Special Assistance and Aquaphobic lessons - If you or your child feel unready for group lessons, encounter a fear of water (aquaphobia), or requires additional assistance, we offer personalised 1:1, 2:1 and special assistance lessons designed to prepare you for participation in a group setting or help support you gain your confidence in the water.
Our teachers are fully trained, we have an exclusive pool use and a warm and welcoming environment!
