What Happens During Your Free Taster Lesson?

Find the Right Swimming Class
Choose your child’s age and answer a few simple questions to find the classes most suited to them.
1. Pick your child’s age group
2. How would your child feel most comfortable learning?
Children aged 4 may be ready for independent lessons, or may benefit from our final parent-guided transition class.
2. What stage has your child previously achieved?
Select their most recently completed stage. Choose “No previous lessons” if they have not attended swimming lessons before.
3. Does your child need flotation equipment?
For example, do they currently need floats, a swim belt or physical support to stay comfortable and secure in the water?
4. Can your child swim 10 metres independently?
This means swimming without flotation equipment or physical support.
5. Can your child swim 25 metres independently?
Choose the answer that most closely reflects what they can confidently do now.
