Terms & Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

By booking and/or attending lessons with Tiny Swimming Ltd, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. These Terms form a binding agreement between you and Tiny Swimming Ltd for the duration of your child’s enrolment.

These Terms & Conditions should be read alongside our Privacy Policy and any other policies referenced on our website.

By completing your registration and attending lessons, you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms.

2. Booking & Registration

Bookings can be made via the Tiny Swimming Ltd website, or may be arranged directly following a Taster Lesson or Enquiry.

All parent/guardian and child details must be completed accurately at the time of booking, including any relevant medical information. Tiny Swimming Ltd cannot be held responsible for any issues arising from incorrect or incomplete information.

It is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to ensure all details remain up to date and to inform us of any changes as soon as possible.

A place is only confirmed once your Direct Debit mandate has been successfully set up and any initial payment has been completed.

Tiny Swimming Ltd does not guarantee availability until registration and payment have been completed.

Where a place is offered following a Taster Lesson or enquiry, a payment link and/or Direct Debit set-up link will be provided. The space will only be confirmed once this has been completed.

Once a space has been offered, you will have 24 hours to set up your Direct Debit mandate and complete any initial payment required. As our spaces are limited, we are unable to hold places beyond this time.

Tiny Swimming Ltd reserves the right to refuse or cancel any booking where necessary for operational, safety, or safeguarding reasons.

3. Cooling-Off Period

You have the right to cancel your booking within 14 days of registering, in line with UK consumer law.

However, if you attend lessons during this 14-day period, you agree that the service has started and any lessons attended will be chargeable.

If you choose to cancel within the 14-day period, a refund will only be given for any unused lessons.

4. Payments

All lessons are paid via a monthly Direct Debit.

The monthly fee is £65 per swimmer and is collected on the 1st of each month. This payment secures your child’s ongoing weekly lesson and place within the programme.

Fees may vary depending on lesson type, location or booking. Any applicable discounts, including sibling discounts, will be applied where eligible and confirmed at the time of booking.

Payments are spread evenly across the year to provide a consistent monthly amount, taking into account planned breaks and holidays.

Your child will remain enrolled on a rolling monthly basis unless cancelled in line with the required notice period (see Section 7).

It is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to ensure that a valid Direct Debit mandate is in place and remains active for the duration of enrolment.

Direct Debit payments must not be cancelled without providing the required notice period, as this does not constitute cancellation. If a Direct Debit is cancelled without notice, any outstanding fees for the required notice period will remain payable.

Non-attendance at lessons does not affect payment, and missed lessons are not refundable except as outlined in these Terms & Conditions.

5. First Payment

If you join Tiny Swimming Ltd part way through the month, your first payment will be pro-rata for the lessons remaining in the month charged at £18.00/lesson. This is because it covers the lessons remaining before your regular monthly payments begin.

Your first payment amount will be confirmed in your invoice and be payable with immediate effect.

If your start date is close to the 1st of the month, your first payment and your first monthly Direct Debit may be taken within a short period of time.

After this, your payments will move to the standard monthly Direct Debit dependent on your lesson type, collected on the 1st of each month.

Your place is only confirmed once your Direct Debit mandate has been set up and your first payment has been completed.

6. Failed Payments

If a Direct Debit payment fails, the outstanding balance must be settled promptly using the payment method provided.

It is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to ensure that sufficient funds are available and that Direct Debit details remain valid.

Tiny Swimming Ltd reserves the right to suspend your child’s place until payment has been received.

Any outstanding balances must be cleared before your child can attend further lessons.

If payment is not received within 7 days of notification, Tiny Swimming Ltd reserves the right to suspend your child’s place and withdraw access to lessons until the outstanding balance has been cleared.

Continued non-payment may result in the permanent loss of your child’s space within the programme.

7. Cancellation by the Client

One full calendar month’s notice is required to cancel your child’s place.

Your membership will continue for one further calendar month following notice being given, and one final monthly Direct Debit payment will be taken in line with this. Lessons will continue as normal during this time.

For example, if notice is given at any point during January, a final payment will be taken on 1st February, and lessons will continue until the end of February, regardless of the date notice was given. Your Direct Debit will then be cancelled.

Notice must be given in writing via email to admin@tinyswimming.co.uk. We will confirm your cancellation in writing. If you do not receive confirmation, please assume your request has not been received and contact us again.

Your Direct Debit must remain active until your notice period has been completed.

Cancelling your Direct Debit does not cancel your membership or fulfil your notice period. If a Direct Debit is cancelled without the required notice, any outstanding fees for the notice period will remain payable.

8. Lesson Schedule & Swimming Breaks

Tiny Swimming Ltd operates a year-round programme with planned short breaks throughout the year.

Once enrolled, your child will attend a weekly lesson on the same day, at the same time and at the same venue, creating a consistent and familiar environment to support their progress.

Regular attendance plays an important role in building confidence and skill progression, which is why our programme is designed around consistent weekly lessons.

Your child’s place is reserved on an ongoing monthly basis unless cancelled in line with our notice period (see Section 7).

Monthly payments are spread evenly across the year to provide a consistent fee, taking into account these planned breaks.

This means your monthly payment remains the same regardless of the number of lessons in any given month.

No refunds or reductions are given for scheduled swimming breaks.

Details of planned swimming breaks will be shared in advance where possible.

9. Make-Up Lessons, Credits & Refunds

Lessons are non-refundable.

One make-up lesson per calendar month may be booked, subject to availability.

Make-up lessons must be booked via the Parent Hub and used within the same calendar month. If not used, they will expire and cannot be carried over, unless otherwise agreed at the discretion of Tiny Swimming Ltd.

All make-up lesson requests are subject to approval by Tiny Swimming Ltd and are only confirmed once a confirmation email has been sent.

Make-up lessons are not guaranteed and are dependent on availability within the timetable.

Missed lessons, including those due to holidays, illness or other commitments, are not refundable.

We understand that circumstances can change, and we will always aim to support families where possible. In the event that a swimmer is unable to attend lessons due to medical or personal circumstances, please contact us as soon as possible. At the discretion of Tiny Swimming Ltd, a credit may be applied to your account for any remaining lessons within that period.

Spaces cannot be held during periods of non-attendance, and re-enrolment will be subject to availability. Any credit issued can be used when you are ready to return, in line with our credit terms.

Credits may be applied in exceptional circumstances at the discretion of Tiny Swimming Ltd. Any credits issued are non-transferable, non-refundable and must be used within 12 months of issue. After this time, any unused credits will expire.

Credits cannot be exchanged for cash but may be used towards future lessons or other Tiny Swimming services or products where applicable.

10. Lesson Cancellations, Venues & Environment

Tiny Swimming Ltd will always aim to deliver all scheduled lessons within high-quality, carefully selected venues.

However, lessons may occasionally be affected by circumstances outside of our control. These include, but are not limited to:

• Pool maintenance or closure

• Issues with pool temperature or facilities

• Teacher illness

• Venue-related operational issues

• Changing facilities and communal areas

Where a lesson is cancelled, we will provide as much notice as possible via email and/or Parent Hub notifications.

Where possible, an alternative lesson or make-up session will be offered.

If an alternative cannot be provided, a credit will be applied to your account. Credits are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

By attending lessons, you acknowledge that certain aspects of the venue and environment may vary and are outside of Tiny Swimming Ltd’s direct control.

No refunds or reductions will be given in relation to circumstances beyond our control.

Tiny Swimming Ltd is not liable for any additional costs or expenses incurred as a result of lesson cancellations or venue-related issues.

We will always work closely with our venues to address any issues as quickly as possible.

11. Health, Safety & Responsibility

The safety and wellbeing of all swimmers is our priority.

Parents or guardians remain responsible for their child at all times during lessons, including in the water and within poolside areas.

All instructions given by Tiny Swimming Ltd teachers must be followed to ensure a safe and supportive environment for all swimmers.

Children must not attend lessons if they are unwell. This includes, but is not limited to: sickness, diarrhoea, or any contagious illness. A minimum of 48 hours symptom-free is required before returning to lessons.

All children who are not fully toilet trained must wear a double nappy system, consisting of a disposable swim nappy and a reusable neoprene swim nappy, in line with venue hygiene requirements. Tiny Swimming Ltd reserves the right to refuse entry to the pool if this requirement is not met.

While every effort is made to provide a safe environment, participation in swimming activities carries inherent risks. Tiny Swimming Ltd accepts no liability for injury, loss or damage unless caused by our negligence.

Tiny Swimming Ltd reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any swimmer or parent/guardian from a lesson where behaviour is considered unsafe or inappropriate.

12. Photography & Media

To protect the privacy and safety of all swimmers, NO mobile phones are permitted on poolside, and photography and video recording are not permitted during lessons without prior permission from Tiny Swimming Ltd.

Any authorised photography must not include other children without the consent of their parent or guardian.

Tiny Swimming Ltd may occasionally take photographs or videos for promotional and marketing purposes.

Consent will always be requested in advance, and parents or guardians have the right to opt out at any time by informing us in writing.

Any images or videos captured will be used in line with our safeguarding and privacy policies.

13. Communication & Contact Details

Tiny Swimming Ltd communicates with parents or guardians via email and Parent Hub notifications. SMS may also be used where appropriate.

It is the responsibility of the parent or guardian to ensure that all contact details are accurate and kept up to date within the Parent Hub.

Parents or guardians are responsible for regularly checking communications and notifications. Tiny Swimming Ltd cannot be held responsible for missed information where messages have been sent to the contact details provided.

By enrolling, you agree to receive communications relating to your child’s lessons, including updates, changes and important information.

Agreement & Updates

By completing your booking and attending lessons with Tiny Swimming Ltd, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.

Tiny Swimming Ltd reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions where necessary. The most up-to-date version will always be available via the Tiny Swimming Parent Hub, our website, or other official communication channels.

Where updates are made, parents or guardians may be required to review and re-accept the Terms & Conditions through the Parent Hub. Access to bookings, account features and ongoing participation may be restricted until this has been completed.
